“The other day a group of us placed signs at the peace arch and prayed at the border of Canada and Washington calling for peace and understanding between Christans and Muslims. Christian groups in the US continue to be abusive of Muslims…..fear is the way we die; love is the way we live…
We must move past this, recognize our common roots in Abraham and Sarah and build community that celebrates Muslims, Christians, and for that matter all those who hold different religious views…we all count in the rainbow of creation ….so please help us where ever your life walk takes you….
Being intolerant of others is to miss the sacred message….being intolerant of intolerance is our common walk. and yes I continue to work on my own blindnesses/ignorance.”
