JOIN THE DIGNITY CAMPAIGN for Real Immigration Reform

We are demanding progressive immigration reform legislation in Congress that reflect the following points:
- Full legalization for all – papers for all
- Expansion of opportunities for immigration, prioritizing family reunification
- End to employer sanctions and other forms of immigration enforcement in the workplace
- End to guest worker programs – green cards for workers
- End to militarization of the border
- End trade agreements that cause displacement and force people to migrate
- End Title 42 completely
- End the mass deportations, close the detention centers and end family separation
While Congress has shown no interest in working on real immigration reform, we feel it is imperative to continue organizing to create the political climate required for real immigration reform to pass. We have had victories in defeating anti-worker immigration legislation in Congress. Now we want Congress to enact legislation that we the people design. Immigrants have worked during the pandemic and have been declared essential, while being among those hardest hit by COVID and other infections. Immigrants deserve the right to healthcare. Medicare for all, not just some!

Estamos exigiendo una ley de reforma migratoria progresista en el Congreso que refleje los siguientes puntos:
- Legalización completa para todos – papeles para todos
- Más oportunidades para aplicar por la residencia, especialmente a través de un familiar
- Poner fin a los castigos a los empleadores por emplear trabajadores indocumentados y a otras reglas relacionadas con inmigración en el lugar de trabajo
- Poner fin a los programas de trabajadores huéspedes: tarjetas verdes para trabajadores
- Fin a la militarización de la frontera
- Poner fin a los acuerdos comerciales que provocan desplazamientos y obligan a las personas a migrar
- Poner fin al Título 42 por completo
- Terminar con las deportaciones masivas, cerrar los centros de detención y terminar con la separación de familias
Si bien el Congreso no ha mostrado interés en trabajar en una reforma migratoria real, creemos que es imperativo continuar organizándonos para crear el clima político necesario para que se apruebe una reforma migratoria real. Hemos tenido victorias en el Congreso al derrotar la propuesta de ley que perjudicaba a muchos trabajadores del campo. Ahora queremos que el Congreso promulgue la legislación que diseñamos nosotros, el pueblo. Los inmigrantes han trabajado durante la pandemia y han sido declarados esenciales, estando entre los más golpeados por el COVID y otras infecciones. Los inmigrantes merecen el derecho a la atención médica. ¡Medicare para todos, no solo para algunos!
